What your BSC dedicated node is built from.

Every chain fact below is taken from BSC's official documentation (docs.bnbchain.org), last reviewed against it on 22 Aug 2026, not from what is convenient to sell. Where the documentation is silent, the row says so.

Official hardware guidanceBNB Chain's node best-practices page lists a Full Node at minimum 16-core CPU, at least 64 GB RAM and a 3TB SSD; a Fast Node at 16-core, 32 GB RAM, 2TB SSD; and an Archive Node at 16-core, at least 128 GB RAM and a 10TB SSD (NVMe recommended), all with a minimum 5 MBps connection. source ↗
Operator noteThe official guide recommends syncing from the latest snapshot rather than genesis, and notes that disabling log history trades slower eth_getLogs for better performance.

What changed on BSC recently (reviewed 22 Aug 2026)

  • Erigon (bsc-erigon) support ended December 31, 2025; operators were told to migrate to Reth or Geth, and Erigon is incompatible after the Mendel hardfork. source ↗
  • Fermi hardfork activated on mainnet 2026-01-14 02:30 UTC (block interval to 0.45 s via BEP-619, incremental snapshots, EVM super instructions); mainnet nodes needed v1.6.4+. source ↗
  • Mendel hardfork enabled on mainnet 2026-04-28 02:30 UTC (BEP-658 meta: nine BEPs incl. BEP-652 / EIP-7825 per-transaction gas cap of 16,777,216). source ↗
  • The docs archive_node page still describes BSC Erigon (4.3 TB, 64 GB RAM) and has not been updated for the Erigon sunset; do not cite it for client choice. source ↗
Which client

Choosing the BSC client for the workload.

BSC's documentation covers 2 node clients. You name the client, or describe the workload and we recommend one; either way it is built, synced and tuned for you.

Client
Geth (bnb-chain/bsc)

The 'Main BNB Smart Chain client binary' and the client used throughout the official full-node, fast-node and upgrade guides; README cites 16 cores, 64 GB RAM and 3 TB SSD for a mainnet full node.

Client
Reth (bnb-chain/reth)

Rust execution client officially supported as the second BSC client; the BSC Reth blog reports 40% faster sync than BSC Geth in initial tests and the README states it is 'production ready' (v2.0, April 2026); runs archive by default, --full for a full node.

Your endpoint

The BSC RPC node endpoint provider that hands you the keys.

Your BSC endpoint lives on your own domain, locked to the IPs you allowlist, served from the city you choose across 18 Tier-3 datacentre locations. The node exposes JSON-RPC, WebSocket as documented by BSC. Live p50 and p99 latency for your node streams to your dashboard, and the 99.99% SLA applies in writing. New to dedicated nodes? The dedicated RPC node guide covers the model end to end.

What you get on day one

  • An HTTPS endpoint and a WebSocket (WSS) endpoint for your BSC node, on your own domain if you want one
  • Access locked to the IP addresses you allowlist
  • A login to the Argusnodes dashboard: live p50 and p99 for your node, your orders and payments
  • Engineers on ticket, chat, Telegram or Slack, 24/7

Your first request, once the node is live (rpc.yourdomain.com stands in for your endpoint):

curl https://rpc.yourdomain.com \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_blockNumber","params":[]}'

Before you order

BSC dedicated node: the questions buyers ask.

What is a private BSC RPC endpoint?

An RPC endpoint that only your applications use. It sits on a dedicated BSC node that is yours alone, on your own domain if you want one, and answers only the IP addresses you allowlist. No other customer's traffic shares the machine, so nobody else's burst becomes your latency, and there is no rate limit to hit.

How long until my BSC node is live?

As soon as it has synced with the BSC network, and we tell you the moment it is ready. Sync time depends on the node type (an archive node replays the full history, so it takes longest) and the client you pick (Geth (bnb-chain/bsc), Reth (bnb-chain/reth)), so your quote carries an estimate for your exact setup rather than a number that is sometimes wrong. The quote itself lands within the hour, around the clock.

What is included in the from $199/mo for my BSC node?

Everything the node can do, with the premium add-ons other providers bill separately included free: unlimited RPS, every RPC method including debug and trace, unlimited WebSocket connections, your own domain with an IP allowlist, 18 cities to choose from, a 99.99% SLA with credits, 24/7 engineer support and live p50/p99 in your dashboard. There is no add-on price list because nothing is an add-on.

What hardware will my BSC node run on?

A machine that meets BSC's official hardware guidance (quoted in the spec sheet on this page) with headroom on top. We never build at the minimum, because a node sized to the minimum becomes the bottleneck the day the chain grows. Your quote names the exact CPU, RAM and NVMe before you pay.

Can I test a BSC node before I order?

We do not run free trials. Ask us for a latency report for BSC from the city you want and you see the numbers before you order. Billing is monthly with no lock-in, so you can cancel at the end of any month.

Which BSC client should I choose?

Geth (bnb-chain/bsc): The 'Main BNB Smart Chain client binary' and the client used throughout the official full-node, fast-node and upgrade guides; README cites 16 cores, 64 GB RAM and 3 TB SSD for a mainnet full node. Reth (bnb-chain/reth): Rust execution client officially supported as the second BSC client; the BSC Reth blog reports 40% faster sync than BSC Geth in initial tests and the README states it is 'production ready' (v2.0, April 2026); runs archive by default, --full for a full node.

Does Argusnodes run BSC archive nodes and trace methods?

Yes. BSC's documentation describes full-history operation; we run BSC archive nodes from $799/mo with trace and historical queries unmetered. Debug and trace methods are on for full nodes too, within their state window.

Can I run a BSC validator with Argusnodes?

Yes. BSC has a public validator role (Anyone can stake 2,000 BNB to register, but only the top 45 by stake are active validators at any time), and we operate validators under the same monitoring and support as RPC nodes, quoted per setup. Pick "Validator" in the configurator and describe the stake setup.

Can I migrate my BSC endpoint from QuickNode, GetBlock, Chainstack or another provider?

Yes. A dedicated BSC node speaks the same JSON-RPC and WebSocket interfaces as the shared endpoint you use today, so migration is pointing your application at your own endpoint. Billing is monthly with no lock-in on our side, and support engineers are on the channels 24/7 during cutover.

Which city should I pick for my BSC node?

Any of 18 Tier-3 datacentre cities across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific. Deploy near your users for an app, or ask us where BSC latency is lowest for a bot; we answer from measurement. Need a city we do not list? Ask.

Are there rate limits or connection caps on a dedicated BSC node?

No artificial ones: unlimited RPS and no connection cap. The machine is yours alone, so the hardware is the only ceiling: if it can serve the request, you can send it. There is no per-plan connection cap because there is no plan tier.

How do I pay for my BSC node, and can I cancel?

Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer or crypto, billed monthly; crypto payments need no KYC. Cancel at the end of any monthly term; the node is provisioned for you alone, so there is no meter to escape and no exit fee.

How does Argusnodes compare to QuickNode, GetBlock, Chainstack and other BSC RPC providers?

Argusnodes is dedicated-only: a private BSC endpoint on a bare-metal node with no rate limits, at one fixed price from $199/mo with every add-on included. Per their own pricing pages: QuickNode sells dedicated clusters through enterprise sales without published prices, Chainstack bills dedicated nodes per hour on top of a paid plan, and Zeeve applies monthly request allowances on dedicated plans below its Enterprise tier (all checked August 2026); GetBlock lists dedicated nodes from $1,000/mo, with IP allowlisting and a custom endpoint URL sold as $199/mo add-ons each (checked September 2026). The comparison table on this page links every source.

What is the BSC chain ID?

56 (hex 0x38), per BSC's official documentation. A dedicated BSC node answers eth_chainId with it, so wallets and libraries configured for BSC work against your endpoint unchanged.
