What changed on Ronin recently (reviewed 22 Aug 2026)
- In 2026 Ronin migrated from a standalone chain to an Ethereum L2 on the OP Stack; official docs state there is no longer a separate Ronin node binary and nodes run op-node plus reth. source ↗
- The mainnet cut-over to the OP Stack happened at block 55,577,500 (Saigon at 45,528,550) per the Conduit migration repo the docs link, which was archived on 10 Jul 2026 in favour of conduit-optimism-external-node; mainnet DA uses EigenDA via eigenda-proxy. source ↗
- Blocks are ~2 s with ~12 minutes to L1 finality, and flashblocks (sequencer pre-confirmations roughly every 250 ms, read via the 'pending' block tag) are live on mainnet and Saigon. source ↗
- Ronin's L2 infrastructure and sequencer are operated by Conduit; public RPC endpoints are rate-limited and the docs point production users to SLA-backed node providers. source ↗
Choosing the Ronin client for the workload.
Ronin's documentation covers 2 node clients. You name the client, or describe the workload and we recommend one; either way it is built, synced and tuned for you.
op-node (v1.16.5 in the canonical setup) is the rollup consensus client that derives Ronin blocks from Ethereum and the EigenDA proxy and feeds the execution client.
op-reth (Conduit's conduit-op-reth image) is the execution client that serves HTTP and WS JSON-RPC; Conduit's external-node configuration runs it as an archive node.
What to order for your Ronin workload.
Each card is a configuration you can pick above, with the reason it fits.

The Ronin RPC node endpoint provider that hands you the keys.
Your Ronin endpoint lives on your own domain, locked to the IPs you allowlist, served from the city you choose across 18 Tier-3 datacentre locations. The node exposes JSON-RPC, WebSocket as documented by Ronin. Live p50 and p99 latency for your node streams to your dashboard, and the 99.99% SLA applies in writing. New to dedicated nodes? The dedicated RPC node guide covers the model end to end.
What you get on day one
- An HTTPS endpoint and a WebSocket (WSS) endpoint for your Ronin node, on your own domain if you want one
- Access locked to the IP addresses you allowlist
- A login to the Argusnodes dashboard: live p50 and p99 for your node, your orders and payments
- Engineers on ticket, chat, Telegram or Slack, 24/7
Your first request, once the node is live (rpc.yourdomain.com stands in for your endpoint):
curl https://rpc.yourdomain.com \
-H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_blockNumber","params":[]}'Chain facts on this page are sourced from Ronin's official documentation, and you can check them yourself:
Ronin dedicated node: the questions buyers ask.
What is a private Ronin RPC endpoint?
An RPC endpoint that only your applications use. It sits on a dedicated Ronin node that is yours alone, on your own domain if you want one, and answers only the IP addresses you allowlist. No other customer's traffic shares the machine, so nobody else's burst becomes your latency, and there is no rate limit to hit.
How long until my Ronin node is live?
As soon as it has synced with the Ronin network, and we tell you the moment it is ready. Sync time depends on the node type (an archive node replays the full history, so it takes longest) and the client you pick (op-node, op-reth), so your quote carries an estimate for your exact setup rather than a number that is sometimes wrong. The quote itself lands within the hour, around the clock.
What is included in the from $199/mo for my Ronin node?
Everything the node can do, with the premium add-ons other providers bill separately included free: unlimited RPS, every RPC method including debug and trace, unlimited WebSocket connections, your own domain with an IP allowlist, 18 cities to choose from, a 99.99% SLA with credits, 24/7 engineer support and live p50/p99 in your dashboard. There is no add-on price list because nothing is an add-on.
What hardware will my Ronin node run on?
A machine that meets Ronin's official hardware guidance (quoted in the spec sheet on this page) with headroom on top. We never build at the minimum, because a node sized to the minimum becomes the bottleneck the day the chain grows. Your quote names the exact CPU, RAM and NVMe before you pay.
Can I test a Ronin node before I order?
We do not run free trials. Ask us for a latency report for Ronin from the city you want and you see the numbers before you order. Billing is monthly with no lock-in, so you can cancel at the end of any month.
Which Ronin client should I choose?
op-node: op-node (v1.16.5 in the canonical setup) is the rollup consensus client that derives Ronin blocks from Ethereum and the EigenDA proxy and feeds the execution client. op-reth: op-reth (Conduit's conduit-op-reth image) is the execution client that serves HTTP and WS JSON-RPC; Conduit's external-node configuration runs it as an archive node.
Does Argusnodes run Ronin archive nodes and trace methods?
Yes. Ronin's documentation describes full-history operation; we run Ronin archive nodes from $799/mo with trace and historical queries unmetered. Debug and trace methods are on for full nodes too, within their state window.
Can I run a Ronin validator with Argusnodes?
After the 2026 OP-stack migration, current official docs no longer document a public validator role. We run every node type the chain actually offers and none it does not.
Can I migrate my Ronin endpoint from QuickNode, GetBlock, Chainstack or another provider?
Yes. A dedicated Ronin node speaks the same JSON-RPC and WebSocket interfaces as the shared endpoint you use today, so migration is pointing your application at your own endpoint. Billing is monthly with no lock-in on our side, and support engineers are on the channels 24/7 during cutover.
Which city should I pick for my Ronin node?
Any of 18 Tier-3 datacentre cities across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific. Deploy near your users for an app, or ask us where Ronin latency is lowest for a bot; we answer from measurement. Need a city we do not list? Ask.
Are there rate limits or connection caps on a dedicated Ronin node?
No artificial ones: unlimited RPS and no connection cap. The machine is yours alone, so the hardware is the only ceiling: if it can serve the request, you can send it. There is no per-plan connection cap because there is no plan tier.
How do I pay for my Ronin node, and can I cancel?
Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer or crypto, billed monthly; crypto payments need no KYC. Cancel at the end of any monthly term; the node is provisioned for you alone, so there is no meter to escape and no exit fee.
How does Argusnodes compare to QuickNode, GetBlock, Chainstack and other Ronin RPC providers?
Argusnodes is dedicated-only: a private Ronin endpoint on a bare-metal node with no rate limits, at one fixed price from $199/mo with every add-on included. Per their own pricing pages: QuickNode sells dedicated clusters through enterprise sales without published prices, Chainstack bills dedicated nodes per hour on top of a paid plan, and Zeeve applies monthly request allowances on dedicated plans below its Enterprise tier (all checked August 2026); GetBlock lists dedicated nodes from $1,000/mo, with IP allowlisting and a custom endpoint URL sold as $199/mo add-ons each (checked September 2026). The comparison table on this page links every source.
What is the Ronin chain ID?
2020 (hex 0x7e4), per Ronin's official documentation. A dedicated Ronin node answers eth_chainId with it, so wallets and libraries configured for Ronin work against your endpoint unchanged.
Also deployed from the same sheet.
Configure your Ronin node.

Already own servers? We set up your Ronin RPC node on them.
Colo racks, spare machines, hardware your compliance rules say you must own: we install, sync, tune and monitor the Ronin node on your servers. You keep the hardware and the custody. You get the same private endpoint, the same no-limits configuration, the same dashboard and the same 24/7 engineers, for one flat monthly management fee, quoted within the hour and payable in crypto. We never charge for metal.
