What changed on Hyperliquid recently (reviewed 22 Aug 2026)

  • Official node software has no WebSocket endpoint: the local info server does not support websockets and the official HyperEVM RPC has no websocket JSON-RPC. source ↗
  • HyperEVM historical-state requests are unsupported on the default RPC implementation; eth_getLogs is limited to 50-block ranges and 4 topics. source ↗
  • HyperEVM dual-block architecture: fast blocks every 1 second with a 3M gas limit, slow blocks every 1 minute with a 30M gas limit. source ↗
Which client

Choosing the Hyperliquid client for the workload.

Hyperliquid's documentation covers 2 node clients. You name the client, or describe the workload and we recommend one; either way it is built, synced and tuned for you.

Client
hl-visor

Supervisor binary that downloads, spawns and manages the hl-node child process (run-non-validator / run-validator).

Client
hl-node

The node executable itself; flags such as --serve-eth-rpc and --serve-info expose the EVM JSON-RPC and local info API, --write-* flags stream trades/fills/book data to disk.

Each card is a configuration you can pick above, with the reason it fits.

Your endpoint

The Hyperliquid RPC node endpoint provider that hands you the keys.

Your Hyperliquid endpoint lives on your own domain, locked to the IPs you allowlist, served from the city you choose across 18 Tier-3 datacentre locations. The node exposes JSON-RPC, HTTP Info API as documented by Hyperliquid. Live p50 and p99 latency for your node streams to your dashboard, and the 99.99% SLA applies in writing. New to dedicated nodes? The dedicated RPC node guide covers the model end to end.

What you get on day one

  • An HTTPS endpoint for your Hyperliquid node, on your own domain if you want one
  • Access locked to the IP addresses you allowlist
  • A login to the Argusnodes dashboard: live p50 and p99 for your node, your orders and payments
  • Engineers on ticket, chat, Telegram or Slack, 24/7

Your first request, once the node is live (rpc.yourdomain.com stands in for your endpoint):

curl https://rpc.yourdomain.com \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_blockNumber","params":[]}'

Before you order

Hyperliquid dedicated node: the questions buyers ask.

What is a private Hyperliquid RPC endpoint?

An RPC endpoint that only your applications use. It sits on a dedicated Hyperliquid node that is yours alone, on your own domain if you want one, and answers only the IP addresses you allowlist. No other customer's traffic shares the machine, so nobody else's burst becomes your latency, and there is no rate limit to hit.

How long until my Hyperliquid node is live?

As soon as it has synced with the Hyperliquid network, and we tell you the moment it is ready. Sync time depends on the node type and the client you pick (hl-visor, hl-node), so your quote carries an estimate for your exact setup rather than a number that is sometimes wrong. The quote itself lands within the hour, around the clock.

What is included in the from $199/mo for my Hyperliquid node?

Everything the node can do, with the premium add-ons other providers bill separately included free: unlimited RPS, every RPC method including debug and trace, unlimited connections, your own domain with an IP allowlist, 18 cities to choose from, a 99.99% SLA with credits, 24/7 engineer support and live p50/p99 in your dashboard. There is no add-on price list because nothing is an add-on.

What hardware will my Hyperliquid node run on?

A machine that meets Hyperliquid's official hardware guidance (quoted in the spec sheet on this page) with headroom on top. We never build at the minimum, because a node sized to the minimum becomes the bottleneck the day the chain grows. Your quote names the exact CPU, RAM and NVMe before you pay.

Can I test a Hyperliquid node before I order?

We do not run free trials. Ask us for a latency report for Hyperliquid from the city you want and you see the numbers before you order. Billing is monthly with no lock-in, so you can cancel at the end of any month.

Which Hyperliquid client should I choose?

hl-visor: Supervisor binary that downloads, spawns and manages the hl-node child process (run-non-validator / run-validator). hl-node: The node executable itself; flags such as --serve-eth-rpc and --serve-info expose the EVM JSON-RPC and local info API, --write-* flags stream trades/fills/book data to disk.

Does Argusnodes run Hyperliquid archive nodes and trace methods?

Hyperliquid's official documentation does not describe an on-node archive mode, so we do not sell one. Heavy methods the client does expose are on by default; historical access is scoped per use case in your quote.

Can I run a Hyperliquid validator with Argusnodes?

Yes. Hyperliquid has a public validator role, and we operate validators under the same monitoring and support as RPC nodes, quoted per setup. Pick "Validator" in the configurator and describe the stake setup.

Can I migrate my Hyperliquid endpoint from QuickNode, GetBlock, Chainstack or another provider?

Yes. A dedicated Hyperliquid node speaks the same JSON-RPC and HTTP Info API interfaces as the shared endpoint you use today, so migration is pointing your application at your own endpoint. Billing is monthly with no lock-in on our side, and support engineers are on the channels 24/7 during cutover.

Which city should I pick for my Hyperliquid node?

Any of 18 Tier-3 datacentre cities across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific. Deploy near your users for an app, or ask us where Hyperliquid latency is lowest for a bot; we answer from measurement. Need a city we do not list? Ask.

Are there rate limits or connection caps on a dedicated Hyperliquid node?

No artificial ones: unlimited RPS and no connection cap. The machine is yours alone, so the hardware is the only ceiling: if it can serve the request, you can send it. There is no per-plan connection cap because there is no plan tier.

How do I pay for my Hyperliquid node, and can I cancel?

Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer or crypto, billed monthly; crypto payments need no KYC. Cancel at the end of any monthly term; the node is provisioned for you alone, so there is no meter to escape and no exit fee.

How does Argusnodes compare to QuickNode, GetBlock, Chainstack and other Hyperliquid RPC providers?

Argusnodes is dedicated-only: a private Hyperliquid endpoint on a bare-metal node with no rate limits, at one fixed price from $199/mo with every add-on included. Per their own pricing pages: QuickNode sells dedicated clusters through enterprise sales without published prices, Chainstack bills dedicated nodes per hour on top of a paid plan, and Zeeve applies monthly request allowances on dedicated plans below its Enterprise tier (all checked August 2026); GetBlock lists dedicated nodes from $1,000/mo, with IP allowlisting and a custom endpoint URL sold as $199/mo add-ons each (checked September 2026). The comparison table on this page links every source.

What is the Hyperliquid chain ID?

999 (hex 0x3e7), per Hyperliquid's official documentation. A dedicated Hyperliquid node answers eth_chainId with it, so wallets and libraries configured for Hyperliquid work against your endpoint unchanged.
