Sentinel is a decentralized VPN and bandwidth marketplace built as a Cosmos SDK blockchain, where users pay P2P for bandwidth and validators stake P2P (formerly DVPN) to secure the chain. Nodes run the sentinelhub binary on the sentinelhub-2 mainnet. Argusnodes gives you a private Sentinel RPC endpoint on a dedicated bare-metal node that is only yours: unlimited RPS, every method on, premium add-ons included free, one fixed monthly price you can pay in crypto, and engineers on call 24/7. Configure it below and a firm quote lands within the hour.

What changed on Sentinel recently (reviewed 22 Aug 2026)

  • Sentinel Hub v12.0.0 (released 18 Oct 2025) was executed on sentinelhub-2 at height 23,997,755 under proposal #64 (plan name v12_0_0, passed 25 Oct 2025), jumping the version line from v0.11.x to v12 on Cosmos SDK v0.47.17, CometBFT v0.37 and wasmd v0.46; patch releases v12.0.1 (5 Dec 2025) and v12.0.2 (24 Jan 2026) followed and official rpc.sentinel.co reports 12.0.2. source ↗
  • The core repository moved from github.com/sentinel-official/hub to github.com/sentinel-official/sentinelhub (Go module github.com/sentinel-official/sentinelhub/v12); the old URL redirects but build scripts should use the new path. source ↗
  • The native coin was rebranded from DVPN to P2P (docs: 'P2P (formerly DVPN)'), while the on-chain denom remains udvpn; explorer is p2pscan.com. source ↗

Your endpoint

The Sentinel RPC node endpoint provider that hands you the keys.

Your Sentinel endpoint lives on your own domain, locked to the IPs you allowlist, served from the city you choose across 18 Tier-3 datacentre locations. The node exposes CometBFT RPC, REST, gRPC as documented by Sentinel. Live p50 and p99 latency for your node streams to your dashboard, and the 99.99% SLA applies in writing. New to dedicated nodes? The dedicated RPC node guide covers the model end to end.

What you get on day one

  • An HTTPS endpoint, plus gRPC for your Sentinel node, on your own domain if you want one
  • Access locked to the IP addresses you allowlist
  • A login to the Argusnodes dashboard: live p50 and p99 for your node, your orders and payments
  • Engineers on ticket, chat, Telegram or Slack, 24/7

Chain facts on this page are sourced from Sentinel's official documentation, and you can check them yourself:

Before you order

Sentinel dedicated node: the questions buyers ask.

What is a private Sentinel RPC endpoint?

An RPC endpoint that only your applications use. It sits on a dedicated Sentinel node that is yours alone, on your own domain if you want one, and answers only the IP addresses you allowlist. No other customer's traffic shares the machine, so nobody else's burst becomes your latency, and there is no rate limit to hit.

How long until my Sentinel node is live?

As soon as it has synced with the Sentinel network, and we tell you the moment it is ready. Sync time depends on the node type (an archive node replays the full history, so it takes longest), so your quote carries an estimate for your exact setup rather than a number that is sometimes wrong. The quote itself lands within the hour, around the clock.

What is included in the from $199/mo for my Sentinel node?

Everything the node can do, with the premium add-ons other providers bill separately included free: unlimited RPS, every RPC method including heavy queries, unlimited gRPC and RPC connections, your own domain with an IP allowlist, 18 cities to choose from, a 99.99% SLA with credits, 24/7 engineer support and live p50/p99 in your dashboard. There is no add-on price list because nothing is an add-on.

What hardware will my Sentinel node run on?

A machine that meets Sentinel's official hardware guidance (quoted in the spec sheet on this page) with headroom on top. We never build at the minimum, because a node sized to the minimum becomes the bottleneck the day the chain grows. Your quote names the exact CPU, RAM and NVMe before you pay.

Can I test a Sentinel node before I order?

We do not run free trials. Ask us for a latency report for Sentinel from the city you want and you see the numbers before you order. Billing is monthly with no lock-in, so you can cancel at the end of any month.

Does Argusnodes run Sentinel archive nodes?

Yes. Sentinel's documentation describes full-history operation; we run Sentinel archive nodes from $799/mo with historical queries unmetered.

Can I run a Sentinel validator with Argusnodes?

Yes. Sentinel has a public validator role, and we operate validators under the same monitoring and support as RPC nodes, quoted per setup. Pick "Validator" in the configurator and describe the stake setup.

Can I migrate my Sentinel endpoint from QuickNode, GetBlock, Chainstack or another provider?

Yes. A dedicated Sentinel node speaks the same CometBFT RPC and REST and gRPC interfaces as the shared endpoint you use today, so migration is pointing your application at your own endpoint. Billing is monthly with no lock-in on our side, and support engineers are on the channels 24/7 during cutover.

Which city should I pick for my Sentinel node?

Any of 18 Tier-3 datacentre cities across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific. Deploy near your users for an app, or ask us where Sentinel latency is lowest for a bot; we answer from measurement. Need a city we do not list? Ask.

Are there rate limits or connection caps on a dedicated Sentinel node?

No artificial ones: unlimited RPS and no connection cap. The machine is yours alone, so the hardware is the only ceiling: if it can serve the request, you can send it. There is no per-plan connection cap because there is no plan tier.

How do I pay for my Sentinel node, and can I cancel?

Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer or crypto, billed monthly; crypto payments need no KYC. Cancel at the end of any monthly term; the node is provisioned for you alone, so there is no meter to escape and no exit fee.

How does Argusnodes compare to QuickNode, GetBlock, Chainstack and other Sentinel RPC providers?

Argusnodes is dedicated-only: a private Sentinel endpoint on a bare-metal node with no rate limits, at one fixed price from $199/mo with every add-on included. Per their own pricing pages: QuickNode sells dedicated clusters through enterprise sales without published prices, Chainstack bills dedicated nodes per hour on top of a paid plan, and Zeeve applies monthly request allowances on dedicated plans below its Enterprise tier (all checked August 2026); GetBlock lists dedicated nodes from $1,000/mo, with IP allowlisting and a custom endpoint URL sold as $199/mo add-ons each (checked September 2026). The comparison table on this page links every source.

Already own servers? We set up your Sentinel RPC node on them.

Colo racks, spare machines, hardware your compliance rules say you must own: we install, sync, tune and monitor the Sentinel node on your servers. You keep the hardware and the custody. You get the same private endpoint, the same no-limits configuration, the same dashboard and the same 24/7 engineers, for one flat monthly management fee, quoted within the hour and payable in crypto. We never charge for metal.
