What changed on XDC Network recently (reviewed 22 Aug 2026)

  • XDPoSChain v2.6.8 (7 Jan 2026) activated EIP-1559 and the Cancun instruction set on mainnet at block 98,800,200, a consensus-breaking upgrade that every node had to apply. source ↗
  • v2.7.1 (4 Jun 2026) is the current mainnet release; v2.8.2-testnet (2 Jul 2026) is testnet-only and previews EIP-7702, fast sync, JWT-authenticated RPC and configurable WebSocket limits, so it must not be deployed on mainnet. source ↗
  • In February 2025 XDC introduced EIP-1559 support on the Apothem testnet ahead of the mainnet activation. source ↗

Your endpoint

The XDC Network RPC node endpoint provider that hands you the keys.

Your XDC Network endpoint lives on your own domain, locked to the IPs you allowlist, served from the city you choose across 18 Tier-3 datacentre locations. The node exposes JSON-RPC, WebSocket as documented by XDC Network. Live p50 and p99 latency for your node streams to your dashboard, and the 99.99% SLA applies in writing. New to dedicated nodes? The dedicated RPC node guide covers the model end to end.

What you get on day one

  • An HTTPS endpoint and a WebSocket (WSS) endpoint for your XDC Network node, on your own domain if you want one
  • Access locked to the IP addresses you allowlist
  • A login to the Argusnodes dashboard: live p50 and p99 for your node, your orders and payments
  • Engineers on ticket, chat, Telegram or Slack, 24/7

Your first request, once the node is live (rpc.yourdomain.com stands in for your endpoint):

curl https://rpc.yourdomain.com \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"eth_blockNumber","params":[]}'

Before you order

XDC Network dedicated node: the questions buyers ask.

What is a private XDC Network RPC endpoint?

An RPC endpoint that only your applications use. It sits on a dedicated XDC Network node that is yours alone, on your own domain if you want one, and answers only the IP addresses you allowlist. No other customer's traffic shares the machine, so nobody else's burst becomes your latency, and there is no rate limit to hit.

How long until my XDC Network node is live?

As soon as it has synced with the XDC Network network, and we tell you the moment it is ready. Sync time depends on the node type (an archive node replays the full history, so it takes longest), so your quote carries an estimate for your exact setup rather than a number that is sometimes wrong. The quote itself lands within the hour, around the clock.

What is included in the from $199/mo for my XDC Network node?

Everything the node can do, with the premium add-ons other providers bill separately included free: unlimited RPS, every RPC method including debug and trace, unlimited WebSocket connections, your own domain with an IP allowlist, 18 cities to choose from, a 99.99% SLA with credits, 24/7 engineer support and live p50/p99 in your dashboard. There is no add-on price list because nothing is an add-on.

What hardware will my XDC Network node run on?

A machine that meets XDC Network's official hardware guidance (quoted in the spec sheet on this page) with headroom on top. We never build at the minimum, because a node sized to the minimum becomes the bottleneck the day the chain grows. Your quote names the exact CPU, RAM and NVMe before you pay.

Can I test a XDC Network node before I order?

We do not run free trials. Ask us for a latency report for XDC Network from the city you want and you see the numbers before you order. Billing is monthly with no lock-in, so you can cancel at the end of any month.

Does Argusnodes run XDC Network archive nodes and trace methods?

Yes. XDC Network's documentation describes full-history operation; we run XDC Network archive nodes from $799/mo with trace and historical queries unmetered. Debug and trace methods are on for full nodes too, within their state window.

Can I run a XDC Network validator with Argusnodes?

Yes. XDC Network has a public validator role (Masternodes must stake 10,000,000 XDC and complete KYC; the active set is 108 masternodes, with standby masternodes waiting to rotate in), and we operate validators under the same monitoring and support as RPC nodes, quoted per setup. Pick "Validator" in the configurator and describe the stake setup.

Can I migrate my XDC Network endpoint from QuickNode, GetBlock, Chainstack or another provider?

Yes. A dedicated XDC Network node speaks the same JSON-RPC and WebSocket interfaces as the shared endpoint you use today, so migration is pointing your application at your own endpoint. Billing is monthly with no lock-in on our side, and support engineers are on the channels 24/7 during cutover.

Which city should I pick for my XDC Network node?

Any of 18 Tier-3 datacentre cities across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific. Deploy near your users for an app, or ask us where XDC Network latency is lowest for a bot; we answer from measurement. Need a city we do not list? Ask.

Are there rate limits or connection caps on a dedicated XDC Network node?

No artificial ones: unlimited RPS and no connection cap. The machine is yours alone, so the hardware is the only ceiling: if it can serve the request, you can send it. There is no per-plan connection cap because there is no plan tier.

How do I pay for my XDC Network node, and can I cancel?

Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer or crypto, billed monthly; crypto payments need no KYC. Cancel at the end of any monthly term; the node is provisioned for you alone, so there is no meter to escape and no exit fee.

How does Argusnodes compare to QuickNode, GetBlock, Chainstack and other XDC Network RPC providers?

Argusnodes is dedicated-only: a private XDC Network endpoint on a bare-metal node with no rate limits, at one fixed price from $199/mo with every add-on included. Per their own pricing pages: QuickNode sells dedicated clusters through enterprise sales without published prices, Chainstack bills dedicated nodes per hour on top of a paid plan, and Zeeve applies monthly request allowances on dedicated plans below its Enterprise tier (all checked August 2026); GetBlock lists dedicated nodes from $1,000/mo, with IP allowlisting and a custom endpoint URL sold as $199/mo add-ons each (checked September 2026). The comparison table on this page links every source.

What is the XDC Network chain ID?

50 (hex 0x32), per XDC Network's official documentation. A dedicated XDC Network node answers eth_chainId with it, so wallets and libraries configured for XDC Network work against your endpoint unchanged.
